Q Do I have to download one of 1AirData's iPhone applications through the iTunes store?

A Yes, in order to make use of an iPhone application, it must be downloaded via the iTunes store.

Q Does MYME© support multiple companies/users?

A Yes! By default, you will only be able to have 1 user and only 1 company file. You can purchase additional users and company files when you subscribe, or later on through the 1AirData Product Portal.

Q Can I change between companies on the fly, or do I have to log out and log back in?

A Yes you can, without any need to reload our software! There are two ways to do this:

1. From the main menu, touch the bottom of the screen where your current company name is. A popup will show you the available companies that you can switch to.
2. Alternatively, go into Tools, then Defaults. At the bottom is the same option showing you what companies are available to switch to.

Q Is there a way to log in automatically?

A Yes! From the main menu:

1. Select Tools
2. Defaults
3. Change "autologin" from Off to On
4. Click "Save Settings"

Q When searching for a check, estimate, or invoice by number, can I do a wildcard search (ie, all invoices starting with 5)?

A Yes! Use a decimal point (.) anywhere you want a wildcard. For instance, searching for .5. will search for a 5 anywhere in the reference number, returning results such as '5003', '39501', or '12345'.

Q Can I create or edit records with MYME for QB?

A Version 1 is a read-only application - the ability to create and edit records is a feature planned for Version 2.

Q Why does MYME have to upload information from my server to a remote server?

A To ensure maximum connectivity with as little downtime as possible, our datacenter is setup to securely store key elements from your QuickBooks™ software. Without this, it would require a dedicated, secure server with a high speed internet connection to store your Company file, which would mean an increased cost to you. In addition, due to limitations set forth by Intuit©, real-time connections to QuickBooks™ is limited and slow.

For these reasons, MYME for QB requires a local installation of our application on the server that has your QuickBooks files, and performs periodic updates to our secure servers for you to access your information.

Q Does QuickBooks™ have to be open in order to update my company file?

A No! Our update utility will perform the update so long as the computer is on and there is an internet connection.

Q Is MYME available for the Mac?

A Unfortunately, no. Intuit does not support Macs with their SDK (software development kit), and as such we have no way of retrieving data from Quickbooks on that platform. If this should change, we will begin development on Mac support.

Q What will my rates be? Can I keep my current rates?

A As is typical with processing, rates depend on the business and how much information is available when processing a credit card. We are still working with the back-end processors to ensure our clients receive the highest discount possible.
